The driving force behind the success of Madiakgama is a committed
team of four - Jimmy, Linda, their son, Jacques and daughter, Janelinne
- qualified bowhunters with years of experience. Inspired by their
concerted love for the land, they have established Madiakgama as the
best bowhunting ranch in South Africa.
Madiakgama lies in the heart of the North-West
province of South Africa and is an enjoyable five hour drive
from Johannesburg International Airport.
Its 28,000 acres (about 11,500 hectares) of unspoiled African bushveld
offer any hunter one of the richest hunting grounds in
Southern Africa.
The wildlife rich country looks and feels like South Texas and the
climate is a pleasant surprise. Since we are located in the Southern Hemisphere (opposite of the seasons in the USA). Temperatures during the main
hunting season range from the low thirties (0° C) in the
morning to mid-seventies (24° C) during the day. May through September. |
