This Bowhunting paradise just keeps improving with time. We invite you to come bowhunt on 35,000 privately owned game rich acres. We offer over 35 species of African game from Steenbok to White Rhino. You will literally see dozens of different game animals daily, from the graceful Impala to the awe inspiring Trophy Kudu, Sable, Eland or Gemsbok. This Bowhunting paradise is owned and operated by Jimmy, Linda, Jacque and Janelynne Taljaard. Jimmy will personally pick everyone up at the airport in Johannesburg and for the next ten hunting days, you will come to understand what makes Madiakgama Safaris different.
Our spacious semi-private chalets have two bedrooms and a full bathroom with shower, all equipped with electricity, air conditioning, stove and refrigerator for your convenience. Chalets are located right in the heart of the ranch, a short walk from the main lodge with game room, lounge and in ground swimming pool. Domestic and exotic African cuisine is prepared and served with pride three times daily in the main lodge. We only take up to twenty five Bowhunters a year and mainly hunt from June through September. We started practicing Quality Game Management in 1993 and our Trophy quality speaks for itself. Please think about this, some of our animals don’t reach maturity until they are nine years old, we don’t shoot our young males and for this very reason all of our hunters take awesome animals throughout the season.
We do offer hunting for the Big Six with the bow and rifle. We have some of the best Lions in the business. We can hunt Lion, Rhino, Leopard, Hippo and Cape Buffalo on our ranch. For Elephant we will travel to and hunt another area. My friend we will work every minute you’re in Africa to make your hunting dreams a reality. Hunt includes: 10 days of hunting, 1x1 guiding, food, lodging, trophy care in the field and camp, all transportation from Johannesburg and back, Airport pickup and return, delivery of your trophies to your requested taxidermist or Dip and Pack service, ½ day of shopping and the experience of a lifetime with Madiakgama. Daily Rate cost $ 350.00 a day per person. If you have four or more hunters in a group the cost per day is $ 275.00 per person. Big Six daily rates are $ 600.00 per day. Plus Trophy fees per animal that you shoot. We specialize in family hunts and offer a family deal second to none - 1 hunters pays $ 3,500.00 (a ten day daily rate) and your spouse and children are free.
We do offer packages, but we find them to be a rip off when you consider all angles. We have found it to be a better service for our customers to just pay for what you shoot, not what someone puts in a package and then you find out they really don’t have hunt able quantities of that particular species or they won’t let you shoot a different animal (even though the trophy fee is the same amount) than what was in your package. Our package deals add up to the same amount, either way. Call or e-mail us today for references on this hunting paradise.
